Shanghai Shuzao Technology Advances to the Finals of the 11th "Maker China" Additive Manufacturing Competition

Recently, the list of projects shortlisted for the finals of the ** 11th "Maker China" SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition – Additive Manufacturing Special Track, jointly hosted by the Cyberspace Security Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT Information Center) and the Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, has been officially announced. Shanghai Shuzao Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shuzao Technology") successfully advanced to the enterprise group finals with its project "** Ceramic 3D Printing for Production Applications**", becoming one of the representative companies from Shanghai selected for the finals.
This competition is established in accordance with the "Notice on Holding the 11th 'Maker China' SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition" (Zhong Xin [202026] No. 8), organized by the China Additive Manufacturing Industry Alliance, with Luzhou City, Sichuan Province, serving as the host city for the event. The competition features seven tracks: metal additive manufacturing, polymer and composite material additive manufacturing, biomedical additive manufacturing, additive manufacturing equipment and core components, additive manufacturing materials, additive manufacturing design and simulation software, and AI-integrated additive manufacturing innovation. These tracks cover the complete additive manufacturing value chain—from materials and equipment to software and applications.
El competition includes enterprises and teams engaged in additive manufacturing technology R&D, equipment manufacturing, and material development, as well as those applying additive manufacturing to customize automotive parts, mass-produce aerospace structural components, create medical implants and dental restorations, and manufacture cultural and creative products.
Shuzao Technology has specialized in additive manufacturing for years. Its finalist project, "Ceramic 3D Printing for Production Applications," focuses on commercializing ceramic additive manufacturing. It aims to apply high-precision ceramic 3D printing to advanced manufacturing scenarios, delivering customized, high-performance ceramic component solutions for aerospace, semiconductor, and biomedical industries.
Qualifying for the finals of the "Maker China" Additive Manufacturing Special Competition marks an authoritative endorsement by a national-level platform of Shuzao Technology's technical strength and innovation in industrializing ceramic 3D printing.
